Sensory Tables
|
Sensory Tables are designed to incorporate media that stimulate all five senses of a child’s perception. Children incorporate the senses of touch, smell, sight, hearing, and even taste into play with our Jonti-Craft sensory tables.
The most crucial areas of cognitive development are a result of sensory perception and processing. Behavioral, emotional, and social skills are all developed and reinforced using sensory tables like Jonti-Craft’s wide variety of products. Children may utilize experiences from other areas of the classroom or home by engaging in imaginary play, which engages developing brains in spatial reasoning and gross and fine motor skills.

KYDZSafe® edges, which are rounded for safety, eliminate pointy edges to get poked on. Our KYDZTuff® laminate coating makes our sensory tables scratch-resistant and easy to clean up. Jonti-Craft’s KYDZStrong® construction uses dowel pins to keep stress points strong, which increase strength up to 30%. As a safety feature, KYDZHinges® are integrated into all Jonti-Craft sensory tables. These are full-length piano hinges which prevent little fingers from being pinched.
